The InTechFibres platform has several pilots for processing lignocellulosic materials: an extraction/cooking pilot with a reacteur of 1.5 m3 to perform pretreatment and simulate pulping processes, a bleaching/functionalisation pilot able to treat 100 kg of fibres with any chemicals or enzymes in different conditions of pH and consistency, a fibre drying system, two mechanical pulping pilots with a production rate of 10 to 20 kg/h, an twin screw extruder with a capacity of 10 to 15 kg/h and an homogeniser for the manufacture of nanocellulose to produce 30 kg of o.d. MFC per day.
